Bestial part 1
Lalna and Nano stood staring at the clearing where their base used to be. The bits of rubble scattered about were all that was left of the home they had built.
“I have to admit,” said Nano after a few minutes of silence, “that could have gone better...”
“It's gone...” muttered Lalna. He seemed out of it. “It's all gone.”
Nano looked up at him and put her hand on his arm. “We're still here though,” she said with a reassuring smile.
After a moment, he seemed to focus again. He looked down at her and smiled. They had both survived the war and emerged completely unharmed, thanks to t

Aboard the Enderbane 6
Rythian awoke with the knowledge that it was just past dawn; behind him Zoey was fast asleep, breathing deeply and muttering disjointed phrases every so often as she dreamed. Though her back was warm against his and he was loath to leave the comfort of the hammock, her grin of surprise would be worth it when they coasted in to Yogsport later that morning. They had been sailing for the past few days after stopping to get supplies in a village; the weather had been fair and the wind had been at their back, so they had made good time aboard the Enderbane. Darkness had fallen while they were only a few leagues away from the famed port, but Ryt
Simon hadn’t moved in a week.
They had been about to go on another adventure, just the two of them; Lewis had told him to be at the wide meadow an hour’s walk from Yoglabs by noon. The spring day had been clear, and Simon had taken his time walking down the beaten path to their usual meeting place; he was late, but Lewis was used to that. The sky had been a brilliant robin’s egg blue, the poppies were nodding in a soft breeze, and birds chirped softly as they flew overhead on their daily errands.
The sky was clear now, and he hated it. How could the sun be shining like nothing had happened? The sky would be eterna

Was It Worth It?:: Chapter 6- Half-Borns
When we reached the castle, it was almost sundown. I could feel that Rythian was waiting on the roof for me to come back. He would not be happy with our visitors.
"Umm... why don't you two stay here for now and I'll go tell Rythian about my walk. I'll call when it's safe to come out." I explained.
Lewis and Simon both shook their heads and hide behind bushes. Hopefully Rythian wouldn't notice them. He does have a sharp eye.
I flew up to greet him, but instead of a hello, he rushed me inside and then locked the door.
"Zoey, not to alarm you but I think you were followed home. I can feel two people hiding in the forest." He said in a hushed

100m.
That was what my waypoint told me.
100m from help, from answers, from the truth.
The building started to come into view. Despite the heat, I felt cold. It brought back bad memories. Scary memories. Seeing Rythian like that. It worries me that he could be like that. Be so angry, defenseless even. I never wanted him to be like that again.
Before I knew it, I was there. The first thing I saw was the egg, then the hotdog, and then it finally came into view. I saw it.
The Jaffa Factory.
And hopefully, an old friend.

I could not take it all in.
How did she know so much?
How did she know I was a half-born?
Two halves make a whole?
What does that mean?
What does any of this mean!?
This was to many questions and not enough answers. And then she just left. But where? She's probably at the farm. I'll go talk to her there.
Teep was waiting for me at the door. He was waving his arms around, pointing and jumping.
"Come on Teep, what wrong?" I asked him. He just kept on waving his arms around and jumping. Sometimes, I really wished he could talk. "Teep, you need to calm down. I can't understand you." I expl

Was it Worth it? :: Chapter 3- It is time
"What secret? What are you talking about Zoey?" Rythian asked.
"You do know you are not the only half-born around... right? There are many more, from all mobs, all over Minecraftia and Tekkitopia and all of the other realms we have yet to discover. You may not see them, but you can feel their presence. Remember this Rythian, two halves will always make a whole." I told him.
He did not understand. I hoped that he would. But, I guess that means that it is not time to reveal the truth.
"I'm gonna go take a walk. I need to clear my head." I told him.
And with that I left.
I stopped by Teep's house to tell him that I was going for a walk, and

Red.
All around there was red.
That was all I could see. But, it was cold. Freezing in fact. Then I started to regain feeling in my body. First in my toes, then my fingers, and then the rest of my body. It was strange. It felt as if I was burning, while being frozen. Then I saw a shape, no not a shape, a girl! Fiery red hair, a fish harmonica in hand. I was reliving the explosion. But something was different, very different.
I was not alone.
There was a boy there as well.
I think I loved him.
Well, I loved him once.
“Wake up Zoeya!”

Was it Worth it?:: Chapter 1, Warning Shots
I awoke with a jolt. The same nightmare. It has been happening for a week not, each time more vivid than the last. And the boy, he was becoming more vivid as well. But, for some reason, I can never identify him.
It's too late.
It’s always too late.
“Come on, get up! You’ve been kicking for an hour now!” Rythian was standing over me, shaking me, trying to snap me out of my nightmare.
“It’s alright Rythian. I’m awake now.” I said.
“This is the seventh night in a row this has happened. You need to tell me now, what was your nightmare about, and why does it repeat?”
I had been brus
